Artist Bio

 

  Hey y’all! For those of you who don’t know, I’m Reilly AKA RYE.
  I am an artist located out of West Palm Beach, FL. I specialize in useable art, including fun psychedelic inspired clothing, accessories, and home decor.

  I was taught to sew at a young age by my mother, and have since then been self-taught in the trade the past 4 years. Some of my signature looks involve patchwork, velour detailing, and artist prints on fabric. I have some fire-proof options, and enjoy making things that can be worn multiple ways. The majority of my designs are unique 1/1 pieces, that will never be recreated.
  Age 16-17 I apprenticed for a talented oil painter & carried that knowledge with me into my own paintings. Present day, I primarily paint with acrylic leather paint on leather boots, but you can still catch me using oil on canvas from time-to-time, as it will always be my favorite medium.
  Lastly, my jewelry trade was what got me started in my journey as a Local Artist. I began this adventure making assorted beadwork pieces with genuine stones and selling them at events in my area. I am thankful for this portion of my shop because it is the root of all my collections.

  You may have seen this phrase in my bio or on my website. I believe we all have the ability to call things into our lives; to create the world we want to live in. I create to express, release, and inspire. I make things that are functional because I want my client to experience my art. I want it to allow them feel like their best selves. I want to give back to the community that has gifted so much Light unto me. We all come up together. This is why I do what I do.
